2026 10th Annual Junior Police Academy

Participants will explore firsthand various aspects of law enforcement, with a curriculum developed by the Police Department that will emphasize the importance of qualities such as physical fitness, staying drug free, teamwork, and respect.

Activities throughout the week will include lessons in drill and ceremony, physical training, Tactical Response Team training, traffic safety, an introduction to the K-9 Unit including a demonstration, crime scene processing, CPR, and more!

Participants will also tour the Juvenile Detention Center and Cherry Hill Fire Department Central Command. The week will conclude with a formal graduation ceremony on Friday afternoon.

The program is limited to 40 Cherry Hill residents, NEW CADETS ONLY.

*Open to Cherry Hill Residents only. Parents must complete ALL necessary paperwork (health form from parent/doctor and Juvenile Detention Center form) in advance of program. A mandatory parent and cadet orientation (one of two dates) will be conducted before the Academy begins.
