"The bomb threat directed at the Jewish Community Center in Cherry Hill on Tuesday morning was reprehensible and a shocking disruption to the vital JCC services and programs that hundreds of community members rely on daily. While law enforcement agencies were able to clear the building and ensure no explosive devices were on the premises, it is a somber reminder of the very real threat of antisemitism that we must continue to fight on all fronts. We also encourage the community to join the Human Relations Advisory Committee’s efforts to stand up against hate and bigotry in all forms. We are thankful for the swift response from the Cherry Hill Police Department, the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey security team, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department’s K-9 unit. This incident remains under investigation. We ask anyone with information to please contact the Cherry Hill Police Department Investigative Unit at (856) 488-7833. Tips can also be submitted anonymously by emailing tips@cherryhillpolice.com or by texting TIP CHERRYHILLPD followed by your message to 888777."
