[ARCHIVED] Christmas Tree Recycling

Holiday Recycling

As you clean up from your holiday festivities, remember that a number of items can be recycled either curbside in your big blue can, or by dropping them off at the Department of Public Works located at 1 Perina Boulevard.

Christmas trees can be recycled curbside as part of your weekly yard-waste pickup, or taken to designated tree-drop location that is set up in the Public Works yard at 1 Perina Boulevard from now through the second week of February.

Remember: Real Christmas trees with tinsel/lights/decorations and those that are wrapped in plastic bags or tarps will not be collected curbside. The trees are taken to the vegetative waste recycling facility and those other items cannot be mulched.

For more information, contact the Department of Public Works at (856) 424-4422
